@@DMSProduktions I am sorry but I stand by my opinion. It’s common sense that aboriginal people get more funding and favouritism on top of many other things. Therefore I would rather celebrate an “American tradition” than a backwards one.

Hey dude, I haven't gotten round to upgrading this guitar but I had a fret level done and a new brass nut put on, & it plays amazingly. The extra weight make it balance perfectly on a strap! Now as to the fret board, I use paraffin oil, & the steel wool was just a generic 0000 grade wool! Cheers Gav!

Hey Scott. HNY! Well I ended up putting a set of after market Filtertron style pick ups in mine, wired to a 500K volume pot. It was ok but not amazing. I tried it with a 1Meg volume pot & it sounded a lot better. The pick ups that come in it are OK, but are under wound, ceramic single coils. The work but a bit harsh at times! BUT, it's YOUR guitar, you do what you see fit! BUT, I wouldn't put a 500K volume pot with those pick ups, they WILL be too bright! Cheers!

I think I will limit myself to that and some intonation / setup before attempting to upgrade the pickups in mine, maybe will be on the lookout for some cheap (second hand), but I’m not appalled with the sound as is so might just keep them. Was surprised at your other vid where you showed the brass base doobywhacker indicating Huxley didn’t cut every possible expense. Maybe that is ALDI having some “better than the crappiest” quality control too

@@DMSProduktions Heck ya! I was explaining to a coworker of mine much younger than I am how KISS innovated all the things you see normally at concerts currently were not normal in the 1970s. He didn't know how KISS really changed the concert experience for fans. With their stage productions, the props on stage to the lights and explosions, the stairs and the lifts they used for the 1977-78 tours. Gene flying up to the rafters' Peter's drums risers. What is normal for crowds to see nowadays KISS paved the way for all that. I showed the Dubai New Years show with all the fireworks He's a fan now!

@@FLORIDAROOMJAMS Yep, everything you said was 100%! Not sure if you saw their mini concert at the AFL Grand Final in Melbourne 2 weeks ago. I recorded it off the TV and tried to post an edited version here but the AFL has it totally blocked!

@@DMSProduktions Thank you. I mean before KISS Alice Cooper had a stage production in my opinion it was more theater-based production. And before Cooper one can say Liberace LOL. But certainly, KISS changed the live concert experience. Even today with that giant Spider the had a few years ago. I don't recall a Melbourn Florida show, you must be mentioning Australia then. I recall seeing them down there, but I missed the show you mentioned. Tell me more about it

@@FLORIDAROOMJAMS It was their last show ever in Melbourne! I rec it off the TV, edited it & uploaded it, but the AFL has it blocked everywhere! (Except for THEM of course! ) They did 3 songs, Paul mimed! Gene didn't.
